Siemens, WEG, Cantoni, Hoyer & Rotor electric motors
We supply electric motors from Siemens, WEG, Cantoni, Hoyer and Rotor, new or reconditioned. And wherever lead time, price or configuration becomes a bottleneck, we replace each of these brands 1-to-1 with Dormot: our own replacement line, dimensionally IEC-compliant, available in compact frames, modifiable in our own workshop and cost-effective.
Per brand
Five established brands, one point of contact
Siemens, WEG, Cantoni, Hoyer and Rotor together represent a large share of the installed motor base in European industry and shipping. Van Bodegraven supplies these brands new to order or reconditioned from stock, with the same engineering support as our own lines: we verify the application, mounting arrangement and electrical parameters before we deliver.
Just as important: each of these brands can be replaced 1-to-1 by Dormot. Because all brands follow IEC standard dimensions (shaft height, foot and flange dimensions), a Dormot motor fits directly onto the existing foundation and coupling. No modification to your installation, shorter lead times and a sharper price.
Siemens
GermanyGerman manufacturer. The SIMOTICS programme (1LE1, 1LA series) is widely found in European installations for pumps, fans, compressors and conveying.
WEG
BrazilBrazilian manufacturer with the cast-iron W22 series, widely applied in process and OEM environments across a wide power range.
Cantoni
PolandPolish group (Celma, Indukta, Besel) with a broad European standard programme, including ATEX versions.
Hoyer
DenmarkDanish supplier with a maritime profile: IE3 motors with class approvals, applied in marine HVAC, pumps and winches.
Rotor
NetherlandsDutch brand from Eibergen. The RMI/2RMI series has run for decades in Dutch machine building, agriculture and industry.
Each of these brands, replaceable 1-to-1 by Dormot
Dormot is Van Bodegraven's replacement line, designed to replace motors from any A-brand 1-to-1. The basis is IEC dimensional compliance: identical shaft height, foot and flange dimensions, so the motor fits directly onto your existing foundation and coupling. Where installation space is tight, Compact and Double Compact versions deliver the same power on a smaller frame.
Compact
Compact & Double Compact: the same power on a smaller frame, for tight installation spaces.
Modifiable
Shaft, flange, terminal box, IP rating and coating adapted in our own Dordrecht workshop, often within days.
Cost-effective
Sharp pricing and stock in Dordrecht: frequently faster and more economical than the original.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. New to order through our purchasing channels, or reconditioned from stock. Send your nameplate or specification and you will receive a proposal with price and lead time within one working day.
Yes. All brands follow IEC standard dimensions, so shaft height, foot and flange dimensions are identical. Our workshop handles any deviating details such as shaft ends or terminal box position. The Dormot is therefore plug-and-play and often faster to deliver and more economical.
Then we solve it in our Dordrecht workshop: shaft machining, flange conversion, IP upgrade to IP68, special coating (C5-M), brakes or sensors. Virtually any configuration is technically solvable.
Dormot standard motors are in stock in Dordrecht and often on site within 24-48 hours in NL/BE. For original brands the lead time depends on the factory. You receive a quotation with exact price and lead time within one working day.
A photo of the nameplate is fastest. Otherwise power (kW), speed, mounting (B3/B5), shaft height and voltage suffice. Unsure about dimensions? Use our dimension sheet.
Yes. In our Dordrecht workshop we recondition motors of all brands: bearings, windings, seals, coating and a FAT test report. Often a solid alternative alongside replacement.
